I want to share another great resource that has helped many of my guests. It is called 2-1-1. They serve Mineral, Missoula and Ravalli Counties 24 hours per day. 2-1-1 is the information and referral service that can provide the vital link between people with questions or problems and the social services in the community available to meet their needs. The website at Montana 2-1-1 has the most current and comprehensive listing of community resources available locally.
When you call 2-1-1, you will talk to an information and referral specialist. This person is trained to analyze your problem or questions, however complicated, and refer to you to the proper agencies and organizations that can help. ALL CALLS ARE CONFIDENTIAL. Referrals provided are to agencies, organizations, and programs available to communities in our three-county service area.
I do have a flyer they provided me to share with my guests. Whenever a new guest comes in to do laundry I give them our 2021 resource packet. It is full of helpful services and programs in the Bitterroot.
